Last year's debate

At 2010’s Nice Girls Finish Second, the crowds were the largest (and loudest) we’d seen in debate history.

Speakers included husband and wife team Peter FitzSimons and Lisa Wilkinson, who got feisty and furious on opposing sides of the fence. The lovely Mia Freedman also weighed in, making a whole lot of nice girl noise for the against team.

Debate history

When Julia Gillard stepped up to the Great Debate podium in 2004 she exclaimed,

"Let's get a grip here, this is Australia, women don’t lead". (How times have changed!).

From an event of just a few hundred people to sell-out 1000+ numbers in 2010, AIM’s Women in Management Great Debate has become a must-do on the business lunch circuit.
